STAY – Briarley Cottage Isle of Wight
We stayed here last year, and it was the perfect getaway cottage in the Isle of Wight, thought I would share it with you as ideal for dog owners too, which many of you are! In the pretty village of Brighstone, quiet and peaceful with a lovely cottage garden, we also loved the Aga cooker (a first for us!) perfect roast dinner! We’ll be back soon! ART – Florentijn Hofman’s Giant Rubber Duck
Saw this today and thought I should share! A giant inflatable rubber duck (6 storey high!) floated into Hong Kong’s Victoria harbour, brightening up the city’s grey skyline, the work is of Florentijn Hofman as part of his ’Rubber Duck project’ which originally debuted in 2007, and has since travelled the world, visiting cities such as Sao Paulo, Auckland, Sydney and most recently Osaka. Unfortunately there has been an incident since arriving in Hong Kong that has seen the duck deflated! But here he is in all his glory before!! Enjoy! For more information click below!
